About the Author
Kenny Jamieson grew up in Falkirk, Scotland. After graduating in Social Sciences from the University of Edinburgh he first applied his passion for anthropology in the fields of marketing and innovation. For twenty years he held various senior roles in the drinks industry, and in 2005 he founded his own consultancy specialising in the application of whole-brain thinking to the many challenges facing modern business and society. These roles sustained his endless curiosity about human nature and nurtured the creativity which kept both brain hemispheres fully exercised for two decades.
A World in Two Minds is his debut book and synthesises over thirty years of study and learning across anthropology, psychology, philosophy, neuroscience, sociology and behavioural economics. In it he makes sense of our man-made global chaos by explaining our current crisis in terms of the modus operandi of the human brain, revealing that our species has inadvertently made itself sick, and how we must change our thinking in order to heal and bring forth a positive future for all.
Away from work and writing, Kenny remains a keen follower of Falkirk Football Club and is passionate about reading, travelling, whisky, Scotland, and Harley Davidson motorcycles.
